Yes, it can be placed on the 2nd floor. That is where I have it. It is extremely heavy, but it comes in pieces that should be assembled once moved to its final location. You will likely need 3 people to move it up. If placing on a regular room carpet - it might be worthwhile to have a small rubber mat placed under the base before completing the installation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Two people should be able to get it up stairs if you move it in sections. The two "legs" are the heaviest & may take two people to lift each one. Be aware that the iFit app that comes with this is very buggy - frequently freezes & buffers, which makes it very difficult to complete a workout.
