AMD Socket AM4 Ryzen 3000, 4000 and 5000 series processors, not compatible with Ryzen 5 This basically means any 3000, 4000, and 5000 series types of processers, yes including the 2700x, will work, just know it isnt compatible with any ryzen 5 for some reason so keep that in mind
