- Answer Hi Thomas, Thanks for reaching out. The compatibility would work fine. At stock speeds, it should be just fine. But it's a smaller cooler for an i9. Any overclocking might result in higher operating temperatures.

Questionshows on bestbuy website it would fit LGA 2011 socket but on next website it don't list it and I saw on the box also don't list it, then newegg showed it would fix the 2011.. parts included shows no brackets for a 2011 tho.. so would it work or no?
