Thermal paste is already applied to the pump. However, if you have to remove the pump for any reason, you should reapply thermal paste before remounting the pump.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the cooler has the past applied on the water block. Some people remove this paste and apply there own. I used the paste that was already on the cooler. Its a personal choice to change the paste but I doubt it makes much difference in the temps you will get. But yes its on the water block from the factory so just be careful and look for it when you unpacking so you don't accidentally rub it off if your going to use it.
