Stay away, far, far away, the IPD adjustment is non-existent, don't listen to the "software IPD adjustment" it does nothing. I have an IPD of 79, I returned the Rift S, and may purchase the Valve Index later.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn't have the physical IPD adjustment that many sets have, including the older rift, but there is an IPD adjustment area in the oculus software to change the IPD size so it is doing some level of software change up to adjust for that. I don't know what my IPD is and the default setting in software works just fine for me so I haven't messed with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My IPD is 68 and it works fine, but as to will it work is hard the answer as it also depends on how your face is built, and the way the head set sets on you. I have heard of people with 70 using it ok, but then again many have not been able also. It would be best to try a demo at a mall or something like that, this is what I did to make sure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you can go to 73 ipd.vmine is 65.5 and I have no issues
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have my IPD set at 71, but started with it at 65 and didn't notice a difference
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it is capped at 70. 67 worked well for me, but the S version has a very limited IPD compared to the older Rift.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a single display, and IPD can be adjusted in software. Not ideal, but can work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just got it this afternoon, my IPD is 70mm. It's definitely not as comfortable as the original adjustable one, and you'll notice double shadow and image blur on the edge of the lense, but the image in the center is fine... The software IPD adjustment is a joke. But it's really much much easier to set up since you don't need to worry about the sensors... I'll do more test and comparison tomorrow and make the final decision of if i should return it. Hope it helps! Wendell

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My IPD is 66mm and the focus and clarity are great.
