If she’s asking for a oculus rift s, the oculus rift s requires a windows pc (should be gaming) if she is asking for an oculus quest (1 or 2) you don’t need any pc, the oculus quest is an all in one headset where it has no wires just the headset and controllers and can function. If you don’t plan on getting a windows gaming pc for her, I would recommend getting her an oculus quest,
