- Answer This is a stand alone recorder and does not offer the ability to transfer recording to a computer. I suggest looking at a VN-6200PC.

- Answer This recorder does not offer computer connectivity. It is intended as a stand alone device. I suggest a VN-8100PC or similar for this purpose.

- Answer I suggest using the Format option located in the menu system. This will erase all data from the recorder.

- Answer The device can be attached using a patch cable. Connecting the headphone out port to the Aux in port on your stereo.

- Answer This device does is intended for conference or dictation recording to record at a distance I suggest the addition of compact boom mic like the ME-32.
