• It records audio for still images and video in stereo. The audio for stills has to be added after the photo is taken and is only recorded for 4 seconds. Audio for video is real time.

• Yes the video is great and the mic works great on it. I attached a video I did at a concert just the other day you can hear the quality at a concert.
