“How does the Olympus TG-870 turn on and off? I had an Olympus Stylus 400 which I liked very much, but the sliding lens cover (also turned the camera on/off) stuck open. Repaired, it lasted a year. Olympus still using a sliding cover?”

• There is no sliding cover for the lens. A power button on the top turns it on and off and I believe it will power off on its own after enough time.
