A:Answer You are probably looking for a response from a BB or HP rep, of which I am neither. That being said, somewhere in the fine print there is statement that says something to the effect of:
Product photos may not be representative of the product you receive.
And that's the gist of what happened.
"Custom" PC components tend to change in performance and appearance faster than website editors can keep up. Often these changes happen so much that it would be financially irresponsible to continually update the pictures. With regard to PCs: as long as the product received meets the listed technical performance levels specified in the item listing and the difference in appearance is not egregious (i.e.: got a metal access panel instead of a tempered glass access panel, or ordered a blue item and got a doody brown item), then any remuneration is at the sole discretion of either the vendor or manufacturer, and the customer generally has to rectify the difference in appearance themselves (and hope they don't nullify the warranty by doing so) or just live with the disappointment.
I am not a lawyer or any other type of legal professional, nor do I now or have I ever worked for a legal professional or practiced law.
TLDR: Buyer beware.
Sorry if this isn't helpful.
