So I agree that the STOCK Intel cooler while on paper is technically sufficient its not ideal. The Top area for a Raditor is also flawed in my opinion. You essentially mount the Radiator to a plate. The top is not a true exhaust. Instead I went with a Noctua NH-C14S in the Low Profile Configuration. That has a height of 115m in that configuration. Installs easily and dropped my idle temps by 12C. Looks awesome too.

It is held to the computer with 4 Phillips head screws. Mount the fan and radiator first then the cooler on the CPU. Intel BXTS13X Water/Liquid Cooling Thermal Solution This is the only one I could find that had a four pin power connector. The mother board has a dedicated 4 pin plug for liquid cooler.

The system thermals are engineered to work well from stock without the need for additional cooling or other peripherals. If you do decide to change the cooler you would need to mainly ensure the cooler does not exceed chassis depth.
