Yes, it's sufficient to run the system. HP would not put an inadequate power supply on a gaming computer (or any computer, for that matter).

Please try again later.500 watts is enough to power this system, there is a single 16GB stick of RAM with a heat spreader, with space for another stick.16 is just fine but you could add more if you chose to. Place the desktop in a place where it can breathe. don't put it directly on the floor or desk elevate it so it can breathe. There aren't many fans in the case.

Count on the power supply dying sometime and replacing it with a better one. (800W Gold rated or better, I'd recommend.) It is a single 16GB HyperX stick of RAM. You can add another to get dual channel performance.
