• This desktop has 2 SATA ports on the board. You are correct one is in use with the 2TB drive. There is a tool less drive slot that will fit another drive 25. or 3.5.You will need screws to mount the 2.5 drive and a SATA cable.

• I believe there is a total of 2 SATA connectors and two 3.5" bays with easy slide in trays, one of which is used by the 2TB drive.
