That's correct, but since it already has both slots used you will need to remove both RAM sticks and replace them with two larger-capacity RAM sticks if you wish to upgrade. It will take a maximum 32GB DDR4 RAM (two sticks of 16GB to replace the two sticks of 8GB pre-installed).
