At higher temperatures, the stock CPU fan is very loud. It was loud & distracting, I gamed with headphones on. To solve 2 problems (higher CPU temp, loud stock CPU fan), I installed the Corsair Hydro H60 watercooler. During Far Cry 5 New Dawn, my max CPU temperature dropped from 97 C to 74 C, a 31.1% improvement. Watercooling is DEFINITELY worth it.
