I bought this phone unlocked and now I'm being told that the imei number isn't compatible with sprint anybody know why or what I can do? null

this phone will not work with Sprint. Although they have merged with T-mobile, the switch is not finalized. therefore IMEI is NOT compatible with Sprint network. I have tried calling customer service and went to t-mobile store where I spoke with the manager, neither could do anything about it. This phone is NOT for Sprint network.
