QuestionDoes the upscaling from 1080p to 4k work well? I have seen video reviews of people complaining about problems. The video signal wasn't going through in that mode. I will only buy this receiver after it is confirmed that Onkyo fixed this functionality.

- Answer We have a 60" Samsung 4K TV, & are on Direct TV. While we haven't gotten a 'REAL', $K program, I can tell you that we have had no problems with any program we have watched. The old re-runs all come in as though in HD, The newer programs are even better. There is no problem detecting errors in the actor's make-up,( skin blemishes). I'm not an expert, but this is the best we've had todate. Good Luck on getting the same results.

- Answer Not at this time, Onkyo has announced some players will get a software update for Dolby Vision, but didn't mention this model specificially.

QuestionDoes this receiver push HDR data through to the TV. MY ONKYO 737NR (2-3 years old) does not. XBOX One S plugged into receiver= HDR not supported. XBOX One S plugged into the TV= HDR is supported but the Audio Return Channel (ARC) only outputs in Stereo.

QuestionI have a Onkyo amplifier. I run YouTube through Firestick I have a mic mixer which I have connected to the Aux in. I want the Karaoke function. I'm not able to run the You tube and the Aux together. Is there a way to run both together.

QuestionI can get the listening mode to Dolby digital on cbl/Sat but not on bd/DVD. Is there a mode that picks up all signals, so you don't have to keep switching modes for 4k movies?

- Answer I would start with the device that is plugged into the receiver. Is the device Dolby digital compatible? If yes, check the audio settings in its menu. You may have to enable surround sound as some devices are set to just stereo or tv speakers as a default. The receiver should automatically pick up whatever signals it is being sent. You can also try the port that Dolby digital is working properly on and also use that cable to eliminate that as the problem.

QuestionI have the txnr 757. I can't get good sub sound on my klipsh sw112 when I watch 4k movies. I get good sound on it watching tv. Need help!

- Answer Check your settings on the receiver. There are options to adjust the levels on the speakers. Possibly a setting is off. Also make sure you are running the receiver is the proper configuration in the receiver settings.

- Answer I live in an old house with plaster and lathed walls and old wiring. The reason I point out the old wiring is because it is more prone to EMF and FMR interference; I cannot receive broadcast signals without a host of filters and amplifiers. So, when I connect to my receiver in the living room using Bluetooth to play music from my iPhone 5, I can be in the kitchen (30-35ft) without losing the connection. I do get a little static if I'm running the toaster or microwave.

- Answer This receiver certainly has the power to support that number of speakers but I would not recommend it to anyone without advanced understanding of audio dynamics. The speakers would need to be distributed equally across each channel not to exceed the output specified, or additional amplifier(s) may be necessary.
