Q: QuestionI have a set of Bose 901 speakers with an EQ of some sort he recommends me to have a receiver or amp with a main and a Maine out I can’t see the back of the stereo clearly when I zoom. Bose recommends $2000 receivers and up.

- A:Answer I have a neighbor with a 1990 set of 901s. Equalizer is missing. I would not even bother with that factory equalizer. His sound fantastic without the equalizer. Turn them around so that the eight drivers are facing the front.

- A:Answer My neighbor runs his 901s with a small 20wpc receiver . Sound great. Pretty much any amplifier or receiver will work fine.
