• Check your connections on your receiver, if you have it plugged in to cd on your receiver, try using the auxiliary jacks. Also if you have a remote make it’s not set on mute.

• Mine works fine. I'm assuming you've checked and rechecked the connections. If so, it could just be a fault with that particular unit.
