Can I use speakers with this. Or Do I not need them null

I connected this to my Onkyo receiver which already had speakers attached. So believe you do need to have speakers.

Hello Karen You will need additional equipment to hear the cd’s being played by the DXC390. Example: receiver or an amplifier (with audio inputs) and speakers. Thank you Onkyo
