I just recently bought the new Onkyo CD player to replace my old Onkyo that I bought 30 years ago and it still works great never had any problem with playing a CD that I made off the computer, I bought the new Onkyo for a back-up when on sale and I tried it out with CD's I made and it works great also. It does. I was under the inpression from the description that it only plays regular cds but i have other cds that i made that are other formats and it played them fine. Doesnt playball the formats but plays most. Its a very nice player.
