“The receiver/amplifier that runs my system is an Onkyo TX-1500. Very old but has RCA connectors. My 1990 single play Sony CD player died yesterday. Do you think this Six Cd Changer will work with the 1500? Could it blow out my 1971 Utah speakers?”

We had a Sony Disc Player (CDP-CX355) for a number of years which would hold more than 200 CDs (CDs stood upright on the circular track). This Sony product is no longer available. When the Sony would not play CDs, we assumed that the probllem was the changer, We purchased from Best Buy an Onykyo DX-C390 CD changer which holds 6 CDs. We connected it to the ampllifier/speaker component that had come with the Sony CD player. This plays our collection of CDs beautifully.
