Yes, since it has line level outputs.
You have two options:
1. Player => Power Amp => Passive Speakers
2. Player => Mixer => Power amp = Passive Speakers

or use Active Speakers (which have build-in power amp) instead of Power Amp and passive speakers

PS There are power mixers which also have built-in amplifier.

CD's and low level output devices should be connected to the mixer first. If the mixer is amplified then the speakers would be connected to the output of the mixer.

or
CD's/mics/etc. ))) amplified mixer ))) speaker
Mixers usually have RCA type inputs for CD's while using XLR
connectors for mics and for amplifiers.
