Short answer? No. Long answer? It's not a question of sufficiency, it's a question of whether or not it's the right application for this tool. This is a 5.1 surround device for use in 1 room where you have a 5.1 surround speaker set installed. If you want to run stereo in multiple rooms, you ideally would need a distribution switcher with a stereo amp in each room. Another approach would be something like a MCA-66 Multi-Zone Controller/Amplifier where you have a 2 channel amp capable of powering multiple sets of speakers in different zones. hope it helps.
