Put them at or above ear height when seated and on top of the left and right front speakers if possible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I placed these speakers on top of my front speakers, which are about 10' apart, and they work really well. These speakers fire up toward the ceiling, at a slight angle, and the result is quite impressive for an inexpensive speaker. I'm using a Yamaha RX-V681 receiver...

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as they are positioned close to the same height that your towers are then they would work fine this way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an Okkyo receiver with dolby atmos. The add on speakers connect to the height connecters with speaker wires. I purchased 2 black waist cans at Walmart for $7.00 + each turned them upside down and placfed the speakers on top. They are now at the proper height which is above ear level. Don't try to remove the labels whitch can be a nightmare. Turn them to face the wall and enjoy. For a $ 149.00 per pair these speakers work all the time and really kick when you play something with dolby atmos.
