“Many online forums and some technology review sites mention that many Onkyo receivers make a clicking sound (a relay click) every once in a while. This receiver's little brother (NR585) does. Has anybody noticed that on this receiver?”

I have owned this receiver for a few months now. I've never heard this. It's been a fantastic receiver for me.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I have heard this relay click. In my opinion, it is not bothersome and has not impaired the receivers function. You have to pay attention to hear the relay click. Our receiver is a TX-NR686.
