Will 3 ohm speakers work well with this system null

the onkyo nr-575 is only rated for 4 ohm and up speakers. So technically no and may void your warranty. This doesn't mean that those speakers won't technically work well... It just means you risk ruining your 300+ dollar reciever or speakers if you do use them. The louder you run the speakers the more the risk. I know someone who is using 3-4 ohm speakers on a different onkyo reciever rated for 6 ohm speakers. He has ran them for over a year and hasn't had issues doing so; but just cause he is lucky doesn't mean you will be.
