“All my cables all have banana plugs. Will I be able to plus them into this receiver or do I have to cut them? This is a no starter. I'm not cutting my cables for a new receiver. How cheap is this receiver?”

You willl have to remove the banana plugs for the the center and surround speakers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The front left and right terminals can use banana plugs but the rest are spring clips. You can either bare wire or flex banana plugs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only the front channels use banana clips. The other 5 channels use clips. Probably done as a cost savings effort by Onkyo to stay in business. There are "adapters" available on Amazon which take the banana clip and provide a tail for the clips. My banana clips are screw attached, (my current Onyo lost its HDMI chip) so I can just unscrew them and use the wire.
