• Hello Greg, The TXNR5100 has the ability of receiving and transmit of Bluetooth. However, it will be either or, it can't do both. So if you want to use your bluetooth headphones then within the menu of the receiver you would have to set the receiver to Bluetooth Transmitter ON(TX). But if you want to send a Bluetooth source to the receiver then you would have to turn off the transmitter to receive the bluetooth source to play through the speakers. Thank you Onkyo
