I want to achieve 7.2.4 setup with an external amp. Specifically, I plan to use this amp to power my rear heights or surround back channels. I've opted for the rz50 receiver instead of a true 11-channel to save money. Any suggestions? null

If I was you, we go and check  out emotiva they make reasonably priced amplifiers you might be able to get a big enough amp to power all the channels for a decent price

Look into the Emotiva Basx A3. It will power three speakers at 140 watts for each speaker.
