“I am moving can I just bring ooma to the new house where I will have a different internet provider and connect to that wifi and be immediately good to go with the same phone number? Or will it be more complicated than that?”

Yes, it is that easy. You'll want to log in to ooma.com to update you home address so 911 service can find you in an emergency.
