• No; Just call OOMA support and ask they to move the old number to the new OOMA box. Since it is tech support call, the regular support number can't handle it but they will give you a special number. Just give them the new OOMA serial number.

• Not sure you can get a lost number back. It may depend on how long its been since your service ended. I'd call ooma quickly. You need to keep a credit card active with them for the monthly billing of taxes and 911 fees.
