Propane in a tank is in a liquid form that produces a gas pressure based upon its ambient temperature. Hence all propane tanks work the same as long as they have liquid propane in them. However as the propane evaporates to provide propane gas, the liquid propane cools, reducing the pressure. This is not an issue for uses such as this, but would limit the time you could run a propane generator.
