This heater is 400 or 800 watts. If on for one hour it would use 0.4 or 0.8 kwhr. Number of hours times wattage setting times rate per kwhr will give you cost to operate. You can find your electric rate on your electric bill.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not too much. It pulls 3 amps ( one bulb on) to 6 amps (two bulbs on). I give you a comparison. My iron pulls 5 amps but infrared heat is way way superior in heat efficiency. This thing can burn your leg if it's too near. You will save money compared to any other heater type .
