“The largest image is just 100”? and in the description it says placement can be just a few inches away from the screen, however in the specifications, it states minimum distance is 6ft. Which is it?”

If anything, it would be inches. Projector central states it’s a 1.5-1.8 ft throw distance. If this is from the lens of the protector and the case facing the wall, you’re looking at the projector case about 6-9” from the wall. Ultra short throw, really is ultra short. The LG one they made could literally touch the wall and still make something like a 65” screen size. Check out reviews from projector central, then come here and buy them on sale.
