Yes, it can be used outside with a very good image but not to be left outside as is not insulated for the elements if stays out overnight
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm still working with mine, but I think that if you place it somewhere protected from damage (moisture, surge, shock/falling) it would be fine. The display is bright enough that even with some ambient light the picture isn't washed out. You would still want to use after dark for the best viewing experience. The internal speaker has a range of 0-10 (0 is silent). 1 is actually kind of loud for a small indoor space, but this would probably work out well outdoors. Unfortunately 10 is not remarkably louder than 1, so that could be an issue if your outdoor space has more background noise. On the other hand, there are ports located on the back of the devise for connecting external speakers. Good luck with your decision, I hope this helps.
