500 gig great service with bonus ota channels due to additional attenna included free buttons are a little small but still an excellent buy. Only reason I stayed with direct tv was the dvr option.

I don't know if this will help .But I have recorded 26 hours of programs and DVR says 10% full. Box says The 500 GB hard drive in the Orby TV DVR will record approximately 100 hours of high definition TV and approximately 1000 hours of standard definition.
