No. You have to use the enclosed roof antenna and grab them over the air, but they integrate well in the receiver, and you can record them in the DVR. If you don't have good over the air reception you can grab your locals via the internet with de Locast app.

The satellite comes with an extra antenna that picks up local channels and at no charge, even if you do not want the cable package.

I receive local and sub channels great, the guide combines all channels in guide, no need to switch from sat to air.

I live in Rochester NH. My local news is out of Maine on NBC. My installer told me that local stations are different in every area they install. They never know what local stations you will get until they put up the antenna. I get 15 stations with just the antenna. I do miss wmur out of Manchester NH, but love the price of orby. They claim the antenna is good for 100 miles but like my installer said you will be lucky to get 50.

All the channels or very clear recording is quite easy best move I made in years
