Orby Tv Receiver and DVR comes Completely ready for installation nothing else to buy. Install comes separately with fee. The DVR comes with SD Card that holds so many Recorded shows. I have had 282 hours of stuff and it only reads 12% full . Hope this helps Answer your question.

They come with SIM card already installed. Actually, I'm not sure if the SIM card is even removable.
