I put diluted dish detergent in the blender and, with the top on, spin it up on different speeds. Then, before rinsing, take a paper towel and wipe it inside and out, being careful to stay away from the blades.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just disassemble the jar and the blade after using. The blade and an insulating rubber disc are held in a plastic (bakelite?) mounting that screws onto the bottom of the glass container. Unscrew and disassemble the three parts, wash them and let them dry.

Do not immerse the blender base in water or any other liquid. Use a damp, soft sponge with mild detergent to clean the outside of the blender base. All parts except for the blender base are d dishwasher-safe. Place sealing ring in bottom basket of dishwasher. You can also wash the parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry. Hope this helps.

Just make sure to rinse it right after, or if you cant wash sooner just fill with water so the remainders are easy to clean off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The base of the pitcher unscrews at the bottom. The base, blade, and pitcher, lid and measuring cap can all be washed in hot soapy water or in the dishwasher. The blade is extremely sharp so exercise caution. I have also washed the pitcher with the base and blade attached all as one unit as well as the lid with measuring cap intact. A tip I read is that if you blend something sticky you can fill pitcher with hot water and run blender to help release and clean the messy sides. The motor unit can be wiped down with a warm soft cloth or sponge.
