- Answer Why bother getting a new battery. We just toss the old units and get another. They are pretty inexpensive or watch BB sales. I got one on sale (BB on line) for under $11.00

QuestionThere is a cork stuck inside my Oster Wine Bottle Opener; someone used it and then sat it back on the charger; apparently, it can't charge because of the stuck cork; my opener is dead, so I don't know how to get the cork out.

- Answer Connected the wine opener electrodes to the charger electrodes with two alligator clip wires ($3.99/Amazon), the device charged and the cork was removed

- Answer Not true!! The batteries can be replaced with a little knowledge and DIY experience. Just make sure you buy the correct battery for the device. I carried a battery replacement last year without any issues. The batteries do not last too long due to the fact that they are on permanent charge when the bottle opener is stored in the holder (which most people do). Poor design but a useful opener.....
