“I really want to remove the plastic film over the home button, does anyone know how? I know it helps keep dust and other stuff out but it wrinkles a lot and I know you can remove it but I don’t know how.”

You can use some adhesive remover. First gently pull off the plastic cover. Then use adhesive remover to take off any excess glue that you can’t remove by hand. Try to use as little adhesive remover as possible as some can be too strong and melt the plastic.
