“How do you remove the plastic film over the home button? It really is a pain because it wrinkles a lot so the finger print does not work when it does. I know you can remove it but I don’t know how.”

I’m sure you can cut it out, but I believe it is intended to be part of the protection for your iPad. I agree that it impacts the way the fingerprint scanner performs.
