It's not soft. It's a firm porous rubber feel. It won't slide around easily. Very usable.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you’re familiar with Otterbox- inner case is hard plastic and phone gets placed inside hard plastic case. Then a softer rubber like sleeve goes around hard plastic case(this helps absorb shock when phone might be dropped). Feels solid and comfortable. I’ve used only Otterboxes in my past phones- it has never damaged or scratched any of my phones (if installed correctly).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the Case it self is a thick rubber sleeve wrapped in a hard plastic shell. The outer rubber layer is soft to the touch, and fairly smooth. Side note it’s the only case I will ever buy. They really are built to take a beating.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The casing itself is a hard protective plastic, but it comes with a flexible rubber outsole to go over the hard plastic. I wouldn’t say hard but it still is “sturdy”.
