Leave it on if your phone is exposed to moisture. Mine finally wore out and when it got wet from rain, water got underneath the protective screen and the touch screen did not function properly. My question would be; where and how would I replace the home button protective film?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had problems using the home button when using iphone fingerprint ID as the plastic was preventing it. I had to go back into settings and redo the fingerprint using the new plastic and it now works fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, remove it. While the case is open, push the circle from the front through the back. The tape will come off, leaving a perfectly round hole for your fingerprint.
Sorry, there was a problem. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No! The plastic over the home button stays, and it fits snugly on top of the home button.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My kid picked at the home button lense so it wouldn’t register my thumb print, and I couldn’t even set up a new finger print like someone suggested. (Be safe about it) I turned on a gas burner in my kitchen on medium and ran the top of the otter box case (no phone inside) for a few seconds. I would then put my thumb in the home button lense and rub the other side with my finger to remove the wrinkles. I did this twice and I saw a significant improvement. It basically fixed my issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you do not have to remove it, but you can if you want to.
