Does this style fit the 2018 6th generation ipad? null

No. The sixth generation is 1 mm thicker. You would think that this would not make a difference, but the case will not close do to this. I know this from personal experience! I have 2/6 generation iPads The first one I’ve purchased on the label said 5th/6th generation. So I assumed they were the same and ordered the one for the air 2.

No! I had to take the one I ordered back and get a different one. Some idiot online posted that they are interchangeable. A fifth generation will fit into a sixth generation. But not vice versa, the difference is the thickness. The Sixth generation is about a millimeter thicker. You would think this wouldn’t make much of a difference, but it really does!
