Of all the cases I have seen and used, otterbox has never let me down for ultimate protection. It is light with double layer protection. It serves me well. I would definitely recomend it.

I love the Defender protective case for my Apple Tablet. I feel so secure with the Defender because even if I should drop my tablet, I feel it would survive the fall in this case. It fits the device like a glove and does not add appreciable weight or bulk to the Apple Tablet. When purchasing a fine and costly device like the Apple Tablet, it only makes sense to also purchase the strongest protective case.

This is not my first Otterbox. Apple iPad Air 2 is so light and sleek that it would slip right out of your hands. The otter box encloses the iPad and includes a screen protector and stand. It's really well thought out

My iPad is my go to device and keeping it in good shape is a must. I went for the ultimate in protection this time after previous screen cracks from inadvertent drops. OtterBox is utilitarian in appearance and a little bulky, so it's certainly a trade off from my previous designer hardcovers. I'm also getting used to doing without the magnetic cover which was my on/off switch. Charging portal is easily accessed and all controls work fine without noticeable effort. Nice feel to the finish and adds grip and traction. Has its own stand, which is nice since the depth is too much for my prior supports. On balance, I've been very happy with the unit and would readily buy again in future.

Case fits nice and tight doesn’t add to much bulk to the device. I feel like the device is very well protected from drops and even kids! lol The only thing that I wish was a little better would be the plastic screen cover. I feel like it kinda makes the screen unresponsive to “light” inputs and gestures on the screen. But then again I typed this whole review with it and it’s working fine! All in all this case is good and I would recommend it for sure!

It is very strong and durable case. When you put the ipad in there, it covers the whole thing and protect every part of the ipad. There is another part that come with it. That part can work as the outer shell for double protection or can work as the ipad stand when watching movie or do other works. The look is great too. The only problem is that it does not protect ipad from getting damages when it is dropped into the water. But that is not major in my opinion.

needed a cover my 2- and 3-year olds couldn't destroy, and this one does the trick. The installation is hard as #$@#$, but once fit it is snug and withstands drops/kicks/spills, etc. It is a little on the bulky side, but the nifty stand build-in works well on tables, bed, floor, dirt. Worth every penny!

OtterBox is the best investment after purchasing an expensive iPad. These have never failed me on phones and I am thrilled at how well it fits the iPad Air 2. The extra front cover doubles as a stand and an extra base for the iPad. Well worth the money! Plus they are guaranteed for a year if replacement is required!

This case is well designed. Great protection. The lid doubles as a two position stand which holds your tablet in a perfect position for on-screen typing or more upright for viewing videos or other content. Clamp the cover over the screen and drop it in a bag and your tab is ready to travel. My favorite case!

The case looks great, fits great and is easy enough for my 5 yr. old to snap the outer case off. The only drawback to it is the weight. When you have such a light Air Pad Air 2 then add a heavy case it is kind of disappointing, but it protects it well.

This is my 3rd Otter Box product and I will swear by everyone I have bought! It has certainly helped with the occasional drops my IPad has endured and the screen protector has done its part it protecting the IPad screen from scratches and an occasional liquid I have dropped on the screen. While the Otter Box does not waterproof your device it does a decent job of protecting it against some spills and splashes. I really like this new Otter Box for my new IPad Air 2 since it allows we to use the fingerprint function to log on and off the device. I have to admit that it was a bit of a bear to put the Otter Box on the IPad Air but it is worth it when you consider how well it protects your device.

An ipad air 2 is much to valuable to just put a cheap case around it. You need a product that will take a bounce on the corners if you drop your ipad, without cracking it, and you also need a built in plastic screen protector. Otter box is the best product for the value, Ipads - tablets - phones I have them all and they are all wrapped in otterboxes, there is not a better product for overall protection. You will find cheaper but you get what you pay for.

After learning the hard way with a previous iPad that the magnetic cover was not enough to protect from a drop on concrete cracking the screen, we purchased this cover in advance of ordering a new iPad Air 2. Our home has tile floors so I knew that we needed a good case again and this one is very nice. Even though it adds a bit of bulk to it, the case and iPad are now noticeably smaller than the iPad 2 and case we also have so it is not inconvenient at all. I put this case on before ever using the new iPad the first time to make sure that no fingerprints were on it. We are very happy with it.

I really like the case and stand. No trouble to assemble. Only downside to the great protection it provides: it make my otherwise light iPad Air 2 relatively heavy. I use it a lot to read for school. I have to prop it up on my lap or table when my arms get tired from holding it up.

This is a great case for people who to tend to have accidents. It is certainly made for heavy duty use and adds a fair amount of weight, but is still good for normal use, and you get used to the weight after some time. The main downside is that finger oil somehow gets under the screen protector and creates weird oil patterns on your screen. You can get rid of the oil by taking off the case and wiping it off with a cloth, but it is difficult to take off the case. The price is also a tad bit high, but this product is meant for heavy use.
