• You have the wrong case. There are iPad Air cases and iPad Air 2 cases. They are not the same setup. Look into it and you will see I'm correct. I made the same mistake.

• It's called common sense. If you have the hard plastic back on then yes it covers the lens, just pop this off and your good to go.

• The case is not made specifically for the table and is covering the camera

• You must take off the case cover to use the iPad or the camera. You must see the screen to use your iPad.

• I would suggest that the case is defective & exchange it for another.
