IF you purchase the one that has the "cellular package" then yes or you can download 3rd party apps that have phone options and use in app service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The otter box is water resistant but not waterproof. Honestly since there is no screen protector; the level of protection against moisture isn’t the highest. If you need something fully submersible in water; I suggest looking into a LifeProof case from BestBuy. They make one that is waterproof up to 2 meters fully submerged. If you know you’re going to be dealing with excessive moisture; I’d suggest one of those. However, the otter box defender provides adequate protection for many people in their routine day to day lives; provided they aren’t going to have their devices be submerged in water or encounter significant moisture. Here’s a link to Apple explaining the procedure to make WiFi calls with an iPad Pro; hope it helps! https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203032
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not waterproof because of Apple Pencil port and as for your other question you can use the iPad to answer calls from your iPhone but it must be in close proximity or connected to wifi and you can also answer texts but only for iMessage
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey I bought the case during the holidays it’s great for drop protection but to answer your question no it’s not waterproof mainly because it has a opening for the Apple Pencil it’s like a flap you pull it up it’s held together by two pins but if water resistance is necessary for you try looking at a different case
