It seems they do not come with screen protectors built in, just like the black version does not come with a built in hands free stand as was originally described

Were did you see screen protector included? I just purchased the Otter Box Defender for the Samsung Galaxy S8+ and nowhere does it state a screen protector included. It does state it's a screen-less edition.

This case does not include a screen protector. Unfortunately, there's not really a good option out yet for screen protectors for devices with the edge screen.

The S8 PLUS cases DO NOTcome with a SREEN PROTECTOR just the OLDER SAMSUNG PHONES.

The S8+ has a curved screen. No promise of a screen protector is offered. Zagg makes a great glass screen protector, comes with a great warranty!

I have the S8+ with the Otterbox Defender case. The wireless charger only works sometimes, it starts charging but apparently loses connection. Sometimes it actually seems to be draining my battery, and I wake up to a totally dead phone.
